Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Oreo is a super sweetheart! Although very timid at first, she has opened up and is a very happy, healthy young lady. Just the right amount of energy and a true wants to be with you at all times dog. She loves to snuggle and sleep in your lap and with you at night with no problem. She is completely housebroken. Oreo is not fond of crates but does well with being out in the house. Oreo would need a fenced area to run and play and if possible, doggie brothers and sisters to play with. She gets along well with our 3 dogs, both big and small. She was amazed to be able to walk freely in a yard when we brought her home and it took awhile for her to accept that freedom but totally loves it now. She is very scared of a leash and tries to pull out. Definitely recommend a harness.
Oreo has been dewormed, microchipped, tested for heartworm, and is on preventive. She has been spayed and has received the distemper-parvo combination vaccine, Kennel cough vaccine and Rabies vaccine. For more information, please call the Bedford Humane Society at 540-586-6100, or go to https://www.bhsva.org/adoptables to fill out an adoption application.
