Meet Chance!
This sweet boy came to us when he was unable to relocate with his previous owner. Now, Chance is searching for a loving home! Charming Chance could win anybody's heart with all his kisses! Chance could lounge around with a friend all day. He loves to cuddle and snuggle up with people. Chance will need a patient home who understands he is blind and will take some time navigating his environment. Don't let this boy's age fool you, he still explores like a pup! Slowly, but surely, Chance gets around! Chance does well with other dogs. We have not seen him around cats. A home with older kids would be best for Chance because he can startle easily. If Chance is the baby for you, please fill out an application for him today!

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Check out all of the pets on our website and or stop in to meet them at the shelter.

2.

Submit Application

Submit an adoption application and wait for an adoption counselor to contact you about your approval.

3.

Approve Application

Come in to meet the pet and make sure they are a good fit. If you have a dog in the home we require dog to dog meet and greets.

4.

Take the Pet Home

Once you have found the best fit you will take the pet home for a two week foster trial period.

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

At the end of the two week period, come back into the shelter to finalize your adoption and enjoy your new best friend!

Shelter is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10-4:30. We also participate is various adoption events throughout the year.
