ELVIRA is a 1-1.5 yr old Lab mix female. The foster in Bothell was so impressed with her and her teenage children immediately said can we keep Elvira! She is insanely sweet and very easy going yet playful and fun. She is very affectionate with her humans. So well behaved! Super quiet, great in a crate although she likely does not need one. She is comfortable living with lots of dogs and has been around the foster’s cats without a problem in Texas. She is house trained and is used to sleeping on the foster’s bed but is happy on a big dog bed. Elvira’s favorite time is “lunch time.” The foster describes her as a “lunch buddy that’s well-behaved, quiet, and sociable. We have never heard her bark in Washington! She is basically a giant teddy bear.” Honestly, she can live with dogs and cats but she is really human centered/oriented and does not need any other pets in the home but does fine with them
Elvira has the most gorgeous eyes...possibly from some Australian Shepherd in her background. She is good on the leash and loves to sniff her way around the property. in TX she had met several of our farm animals and considers them quite funny looking creatures and prefers to go the other direction. Really NON reactive to them! She loves to be inside the house.
