My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This tiny grandpa is an extra special and extra sweet ball of grey fluff. Gramps has a slight vision impairment (and by that we mean he's fully and completely blind) so we are helping him interview candidates for a Seeing Eye Human. The ideal candidate has an accessible lap, experience with generous treat distribution, and the ability to provide soft noggin pats.

Here's some notes from his foster:

Gramps is a blind little poodle who came to stay with me right after being neutered and having 10-12 foxtails removed from his ear! Needless to say, he had a rough couple days settling me.

Now that he's had a few days to rest and heal up, I'm starting to see his sweet little personality come out! He's gentle, loves to cuddle, and nap in the sun. He's cautious while figuring out new environments, but once he gets it down you can see a huge difference in his confidence!

He'll do great in a calm home, with lots of love and patience. I can't wait to help him find that!

Additional adoption info

All of our senior mutts are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and given flea/tick/dewormer medication. Regular adoptions are typically $250, and there is no adoption fee for senior adopters and Hospice adoptions, though we love donations to help pay it forward for the next mutt!
