Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Say Hello To Jerry Lawson...
This kitten has stolen our hearts... He is incredibly handsome with his sparkling, bright green eyes and soft, shiny coat. Jerry Lawson is small for his age - he looks like he's just 4-5 months old, but his teeth tell us he is actually closer to 7 months. His small size is likely due to malnourishment in his first months of life.
We don't know specifically how Jerry Lawson managed to survive on his own for his first 4 months; this precious boy was picked up by an animal protection officer with a quarter sized wound on his neck and severe diarrhea. He was skinny, lethargic and miserable.
Immediate medical care and lots of cuddles later, Jerry Lawson is 100% healthy. And now that he is feeling better, he is hanging out with his feline foster friends and figuring out how to play with toys. But this wonderful boy is also content to lay around and enjoy the comforts of his inside world. His friends encourage him to run and romp, to jump and climb; and because he thrives with them, we will require he be adopted into a home where he can have a cat buddy to play and snuggle with.
If you want to hear his beautiful purrs and see the contentment on his face, lay your face next to his and tell him how AMAZING he is. He's a sucker for ear rubs and neck or chin scritches. When you hold him close, he curls into your arms. Jerry Lawson has been through a lot in his tiny life, so a quiet home without small children would be ideal.
Some animals have had hard lives and they simply require a bit more love and patience than others. And that’s okay. They didn't ask for their tough beginning in life, but are deserving of a forever home that will help them gain confidence and will let them blossom like a rose in Spring.
Jerry Lawson is scheduled to be neutered in a couple of weeks and will receive his Rabies vaccine at that time. He is FELV/FIV negative, has received his dewormer, flea/tick preventives and his first Distemper vaccine. Please reach out for an Adoption Application or for more pix of our especially sweet, very distinguished, remarkably good looking and in our opinion... perfect boy.
