My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Cheeto. Yes, I think it's a great name too. I am a boy! I am an 18 month old, 50 lb Shepherd/something mix :). There are a few guesses - maybe some collie, maybe a touch of husky with my masked face, likely lab. Whatever it is, I am a handsome looking fella. Don't be fooled by my serious face. I am smiling 99% of the time. I LOVE other dogs. I would do really well with a buddy or two in my forever home. However, I could also learn to live as only with a human who understands I might have a timid nature at first. I would really like a human or a family that will understand that when I first meet a new person, I might be shy. I have really just started my journey of socialization so over the months to come, my confidence in meeting new people and on the leash should really grow. I am not reactive, I might just shy away. I also LOVE kids and I have been around babies/toddlers extensively. I am housebroken and crate-trained. I am young so I have some stamina to play with my dog friends for quite a long time but I also know when it is time to relax. My new thing is fetch - I am catching on quickly! A fenced in yard would be ideal for me. Oh and cats - not an issue. I am curious - I will want to sniff and check a cat out but one hiss, I am out the door!
