My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Little Miss Dixie is a 15-week-old Pointer mix, weighing 23 lbs., who came to us from a high-kill shelter. She has been fully vaccinated and is eagerly awaiting her own family. Dixie is a quick learner and very eager to please. Her sense of smell is exceptional, and she’s a natural when it comes to sniffing things out.

Dixie gets along well with all dogs and has met cats, though she tends to play a bit too rough with them. With proper training, she could learn to live with cats. She would do great with an active family that is willing to invest time in her training. Dixie loves to run and play and would thrive in a home with plenty of activity and love.

Dixie is currently in Texas but will be transported to NJ when adopted.
