My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little cutie is named Oliver!

Oliver and his siblings were born on April 7, 2024 in the care of our rescue partners in Guadalajara. Their mama was found wandering the streets, very pregnant, and she was rescued in time to deliver her pups in the safety of the veterinary hospital.

~ AGE: 7 months

~ GENDER: Male

~ WEIGHT: 8 lbs.

~ HEIGHT: 10” (floor to shoulder)

~ BREED: Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen mix

Since birth, Oliver has always been lively and cheerful puppy. He is inquisitive, playful, and loves to explore! He enjoys all types of interactions with people, whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or going on outdoor adventures. Oliver gets along wonderfully with both adults and children, showing everyone his personable & friendly nature.

Oliver also gets along with other doggies and would be just fine in a home with a canine sibling. He has not been tested with cats, but he is young and adaptable, at the ideal age to adjust and grow with his new family.

Like all puppies, Oliver will thrive with ongoing training and socialization to blossom into a well-rounded, well-adjusted dog. This breed is known for their intelligence and eagerness to learn, so Oliver will be a star student for obedience training. He’s at the perfect age to build his foundation of skills.

Oliver is now living with his siblings and many other dogs at the rescue shelter in Guadalajara. With his veterinary protocol complete, he’s ready to come to Canada and meet his forever family!
