Meet adoptable Gaston!

Gaston and his sister Nina are a bonded pair, longing for a home where they can stay together forever.

These itty bitty siblings are best of friends and have never been apart from each other. They were rescued in Tonalá, Mexico, when their family no longer wanted them and left them on the streets. They protected and comforted each other during this frightening time Fortunately, our rescue partners stepped in to bring Nina & Gaston to safety at their rescue shelter.

~ BREED: Chihuahua mix

Gaston is a very loving dog who lives for affection & snuggles. He enjoys being pampered and he’s grateful for every bit of attention he receives. His sweet & cuddly nature make him the perfect companion for a family who wants a pint-sized, charming pup to spoil.

Although Gaston is comfortable with kids, we only recommend children age 8+ as he is a tiny dog with a fragile build. Gaston also gets along with other dogs but his absolute favourite companion is his sister, Nina. He has not been tested with cats. However we can request a cat introduction if needed.

In terms of training, chihuahuas as a breed are quite easy to train with positive reinforcement and treats! With a bit of time and practice, this guy is sure to pick up commands & tricks like a pro. Although he was house trained at his former home, this has come a bit undone since being at the shelter. It shouldn’t take him long to re-learn this skill at his future home.

Fully vaccinated. 

Neutered. 

Dewormed. 

SNAP 4Dx negative (Heartworm, Lyme disease, Ehrlichia, and Anaplasma). Distemper negative. 

Flea/tick/heartworm prevention.

No known medical issues or injuries.

PLEASE NOTE: Gaston is currently in Mexico. There will be a $235 fee for transportation to BC. This will be discussed upon approval.
