Shadow is my brother in-law's dog and unfortunately he moved out of state and needs to be re-homed. Shadow is a gentle giant, good with kids (I have a 4.5 year old that plays with him), raised around small dogs (Chihuahuas, Weiner dogs, etc.), recently lived among cats as well and has no issues with them. I have two husky mixes of my own and a 6 month old new born so I can't foster him for long. He's been fostering with my niece and has been good indoors and outdoors but she's starting school again and can't keep him. He's currently in Santa Cruz but may relocate to Fremont with me for a little bit until we can find him a new home.
Looking for a loving home that has space and active family that can take him in and give him the love and care he deserves.
My brother has offered to take him in after his construction is done on his house but that's maybe another 2 months, so another temporary foster home may work as well if someone can't fully adopt.
