My story

Muffin was found outside by one of my Veterinarians at the hospital where I work. I chose to adopt her so she would be a companion for my husband since our dog is attached to me at the hip. She turned a year old in late March 2024 (estimated DOB). We have had her for a little over a year and unfortunately she does not get along with our dog and has terrible anxiety around her. Our dog seeks her out and backs her in to a corner and pounces on her repeatedly and no matter what we have tried (training, calming treats, etc.) we cannot get our dog to stop bullying her and it has started to make Muffin hide more and not socialize with us. It is not fair to her to continue living in this environment and she never seemed to like my husband either. She is shy at first but she will come up to you after a while and sit with you. She loves head scratches and playing with her laser pointer. All of her toys, food, carrier, litterbox, and cat tree will be given away with her at no charge as well.
