DIXIE is a fun-loving, happy Wire-haired Terrier mix female. DOB: 6/8/24. She is 16# right now (3mos old) and we expect her to get up to about 30-35#s. She loves to play; loves attention and gets along with ALL of other dogs. She is curious about my cats but she has no want to do harm. Dixie came to us because the elderly man that owned her realized that a young puppy was too much. They were working on housebreaking her and teaching her to us the bells that they hung on the back door to announce that she wanted outside... she's a very smart dog. She's not a loud dog but does bark to announce strangers. She loves to be around her people. She would make a great puppy for a family with kids or an active couple.

This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention.

Adoption Fees
The adoption fee includes transportation to the NE. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting.

All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog.
