Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Simeon, an adorable little bundle of energy weighing in at about 10 pounds! This lively Chipin mix is full of fun, affection, and curiosity. At around 1 to 2 years old, he's got that puppy spirit without the excessive chewing, thankfully! Simeon is very active and absolutely loves going for long walks. He’s a quick learner, already mastering "sit" and doing well with crate training. He's on his way to being fully house trained, showing just how smart he is. Simeon gets along with other dogs, though he may get into the occasional scuffle, often instigated by his brother. With his affectionate nature and eagerness to learn, Simeon is ready to be a devoted companion. If you're looking for an active, loving little guy to join your adventures, Simeon is your pup!

PLEASE NOTE: All your current pets must be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and on heartworm prevention to adopt from Polka Dogz. We only adopt in Florida. All adoption fees go to help all the dogs in the rescue, some of which require extensive medical care. Thank you for caring for the greater good. FIRST step is to fill out a pre adoption application (www.polkadogz.org). We check vet references, personal references and do home visits before adopting any pet. We also help match the right pet to the right home. All current pets in household must be spayed/neutered and on heartworm prevention (very important)
Adoption fees help us support all the dogs in our rescue, some of which cost thousands in medical bills. Thank you for caring about the greater good!

More about this rescue

We strive to educate the public on responsible pet ownership. We rescue many dogs with heartworms, injuries nad those who have been victims of severe neglect and/or abuse. Maverick is a perfect example. He is paralyzed and we work daily with him to hopefully help him walk again.
