My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Coraline, a 6-month-old black beauty with a heart full of potential! This sweet girl was likely abandoned and found as a stray, so she's still getting used to the hustle and bustle of shelter life. Coraline is a bit shy at first and isn't too fond of being picked up just yet, but she enjoys gentle affection and loves quiet conversations with patient people. She's looking for a calm, quiet home where she can feel safe, so a household without small children would be ideal. Coraline has a gentle soul, and with a little time and love, she's sure to blossom. Could you be the one to give Coraline the forever home she deserves?

Coraline is spayed, current on her vaccinations and is microchipped - she is ready to start her new life today!

More about this shelter

West Valley Humane Society is an open-admission animal shelter in Southern Idaho. Serving all of Canyon County, and surrounding areas. We take in the stray, surrendered, abandoned, neglected animals in our community. In 2017, we took in 7,778 animals. We believe that every animal deserves a second chance.

We contract with the cities of Nampa, Caldwell and Canyon County to house stray and owner surrender animals that their ACO's, or the general public, bring to us.
