Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Gabby, the second of the "retired" cocker spaniels we took in a few weeks ago who is now ready to find a loving family.
Gabby is a charming 7-year-old female spayed Cocker Spaniel. She is AKC registered.
She is dog-friendly, but her experience with cats is limited. Due to food aggression with other dogs, separate meals are advisable.
Gabby delights in toys, snuggles and short strolls. She is well-suited for families with older children, microchipped, housebroken, and vaccinated. She is heartworm positive but we have started her on the medication and will cover the cost of the treatment after adoption.
Grooming is required, so take that into consideration.
This adorable dog loves affection and attention. She spent all of her life thus far taking care of puppies, now it’s her turn to be spoiled. She is delighted to spend time with you on a comfortable chair or couch. She is absolutely precious and a wonderful dog. Please consider adopting her and giving her the life she deserves.
For an application go to www.homesfurhounds.org. She is located in Williamsburg, Va.
