Incorporar un cachorro en adopcion en tu vida es un hecho que va a modificar tu dIa a dIa durante muchos anos, por lo que es imprescindible actuar con responsabilidad teniendo muy en cuenta los pros y los contras. Piensa que, la mayoria de los perros que son abandonados y acogidos en nuestro albergue, son fruto de una decision impulsiva y poco meditada por parte de su guardian, que ven alterada su vida cuando ya es demasiado tarde.
Los cachorros, suelen ser extremadamente dependientes. Buscan el apego emocional constante, y requieren de la atencion humana para desarrollar sus principales rutinas. Si tu nivel de implicacion no se adecua a sus necesidades, el cachorro podra sentirse triste y frustrado, llegandnsecuencias puedo incluso a desarrollar actitudes depresivas. Cuando se trata de adoptar un cachorro, debes invertir grandes dosis de tiempo y paciencia durante sus primeros meses de vida. Por otro lado debe tomar en consideracion que en gran mayoria llegan de situacion de abandono o sin alguna refererencia de padres, por lo que no podemos garantizar su tamano. Si busca un perro de algun tamano en especifico, recomendamos optar por uno de 7 meses en adelante.

To adopt pet you must fill out an application and be interviewed by one of our Adoption Counselors. Once approved for the adoption, we ask for the donation that ranges betwee $65.00 - 475.00 for dogs and $55.00 - $65.00 for cats. Adopted cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and treated for ticks, fleas and earmites. Adopted dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, treated for ticks and fleas, and tested for heart worms. The Rabies vaccine is also included in the adoption fee. We reserve the right to visit or call any adopters to check up on the animals progress and adaptation to the new home.
