He loves to play fetch and play tag! He loves chewing on stuffed animals and anything that squeaks. His favorite toys are balls and stuffed animals. Additional adoption info
To confirm an animal's location, please call the shelter 409-833-0504 to ask if an animal is at the shelter or in foster care. We work really hard to ensure each pet goes into a home that is the best fit for them and the new family. This is why a session with a Matchmaker is required. Adoptions are on a first approved basis.

Originally formed as the Humane Educational Council of Southeast Texas in 1962, the primary focus was to educate the public on animal care and compassion. In 1981, our name changed to Humane Society of Southeast Texas (HSSET) but our goals and values remain the same. HSSET is devoted to building a better community for both pets and people through education programs and setting a new standard for companion animal care.
The HSSET is a non-profit, 501(c)3 charitable organization run entirely on grants, donor contributions, community volunteers, and a lot of love.
Our shelter is a limited intake no-kill facility serving not only the City of Beaumont, but the entire Southeast Texas region.
