This stunning hunk is Burke! He arrived at the shelter as a lost boy on 9/12, and no one has come to reclaim him. We're surprised no one is missing him as he arrived wearing a nice harness. Burke has been a quiet, calm gentleman in his kennel, and he seems confused as to why he is here. The volunteers describe him as friendly and shy at first. He knows a few commands including sit and lay down. He is also easy to handle on leash.
Burke is approximately 2 years old, and he weighs 72 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and he will be neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Please come meet Burke in run 873; his ID # is 661822.

Cobb County Animal Services was established in 1971. As part of Cobb's Department of Public Safety, we serve the entire county, protecting the residents and animals of Cobb.
The mission of the Cobb County Animal Services Unit is to enforce state laws and county ordinances pertaining to animal control and management; educate the community on responsible pet ownership and wildlife care and provide housing and care for homeless animals, while coordinating their adoptions when possible and humane euthanization when adoptions are not possible.
