My name is Tezzie!

My name is Tezzie and I am approximately 2 1/2 years old. I was adopted as a puppy. Unfortunately my owner passed away and now I am back in foster care looking for my forever home. It's been tough lately, and I have been a bit overwhelmed with so many changes. 

From her foster mom: If I had a fenced in yard with grass I would have adopted this little weirdo.  Tessa's mom adopted her from the rescue when she was just a puppy. Unfortunately her mom passed away so she is back in the care of RFR.  I believe she is a human dressed in a dog costume.  

Tessa LOVES being outside. She loves running in the grass. She loves walks. She loves car rides. She loves playing with other dogs  would do really good with a dog with her energy level. She loves having a schedule.  She loves playing classical music on the piano. 

She is incredibly smart. Knows how to use a doggie door and is potty trained. 

If you know small dogs you know they talk a lot, so she is currently working on her communication skills. She has a hard time with new situations and people changing a lot. She is lucky I have no friends. She also needs help with her coordination skills. I've never seen a dog fall off a couch four times in one day. 

I feel like she might be  part cat. She likes sitting in boxes and eating cardboard. 

Tess is the type of dog that needs time to decompress.  But once she does it is impossible not to fall in love with her!
