Hello, I'm Missy. I've seen many sunrises and sunsets, each one sweeter than the last. My days are mellow, just like me. I'm a lady of few barks, but many tail wags. I have arthritis, but don't let that fool you. I still love a good stroll around the block. I may be a senior, but my heart is still filled with puppy love. I'm gentle and kind, with a dash of wisdom thrown in. I'd love to spend my golden years showering you with affection. Adopt me, and let's fill our days with love and companionship. I'm spayed, current on vaccinations including rabies, dewormed, flea treated, heartworm tested negative, on heartworm prevention and microchipped, my adoption donation is $50. If you would be interested in adopting please stop by our adoption and business center at 4 Commercial Ave Washington Court House Ohio. Our hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 9am to 2pm.
These are abandoned street animals or unplanned litters, some of older age, and many with a shy temperament. Their prior history is sometimes unknown. We make every effort to check the basic health and personality of each animal.
CAT:
Every adoptable cat is currently vaccinated (FVRCPP), vaccinated for rabies (if 16 weeks or older), spayed/neutered, treated for worms, treated for fleas, micro-chipped and started on ear mite treatment (if required).
DOG:
Each adoptable dog/puppy is currently vaccinated (DHPP), vaccinated for rabies (if older than 16 weeks), treated for worms, treated for fleas, spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm (if over 6 months of age), micro-chipped and started on ear mite treatment (if required).
Upon adoption you will be given a health record to take to your veterinarian. Adoption fees are typically $90.00 for kittens, $50 for cats and $300 for dogs/puppies unless otherwise stated. We accept cash or debit/ credit card only! These fees are subject to fluctuation, if deemed necessary, depending on season, amount of adoptable animals in our program, and/or breed of animal. We strive to eliminate euthanasia as a means of pet population control through education, sterilization programs and adoptions.
