My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Red is an AMAZING dog!!!!! He has never met a stranger and loves him some people and dogs alike! He gets along well with other dogs, loves to play, and just is an all-around good boy!!

Red needs an active family! If you are an avid hiker, runner, love to throw balls in the yard for hours and then pass out cold on the couch or chillin' with a cold one, RED IS THE DOG FOR YOU!!!

We estimate Red is about 1.5 years old, and so he has many many years ahead of him to be your bestie!!

A little about Red:

* UTD on shots
* Neutered
* Microchipped
* 1.5 years old
* Potty trained
* Dog friendly
* Loves to Play
* Kid friendly
*Would do GREAT in an active family hike

More about this rescue

Hello! Thanks for checking us out. We are a 501-c3 non profit rescue and rehab service in Tucson, AZ

We rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs from the streets of Mexico in cooperation with other animal rescue organizations in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.

Our shelter in Hermosillo, Sonora, Vidas Con Causa, currently has over 150 dogs. There, we provide medical care and a loving place for them to heal before coming to the US, then we foster and work on finding the perfect fit for adoption. You can also visit the available dogs at the rescue in Mexico. Our rescue partners spend a lot of time getting to know the dogs and we know MOST of their
perks and quirks!

We help special needs dogs, the amputees, the pregnant Pitties, the MexiMutts, those from small independent shelters who don't get much notice, the cancer patients. We provide round-the-clock care until these dogs are ready for rehoming.
