My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet Scrappy, our resident low rider. Scrappy is a 2 year old low rider mixed breed. We suspect maybe Bassett hound Like many dogs that are longer than they are tall, he does need to be careful to not injure his back, especially because he does weigh 35. . Scrappy is in a foster home with numerous other dogs, big, small, young and old and he gets a long with all of them. He’s also good with cats and kids. He’s a super happy loving guy who seems to want nothing more than to follow his person around so he would do well as an only pet as well.  He’s neutered, microchipped and ready to find his forever home. If you’re interested in adopting Scrappy you can find an application on our website at http://lsar.rescuegroups.org

Go meet their pets

Life Savers Animal Rescue has no physical shelter. Animals are housed in foster homes, so in order to meet a dog, an online application must first be completed and processed and approved. Then a meet and greet will be arranged. This process may be delayed should there be many applicants for one dog, so your patience is appreciated.
