My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🚀🌙 Saturn is ready to orbit into your life! This 2-year-old cosmic cutie may be tiny at just 7 lbs, but she has a universe of love to give. Saturn came into the shelter with three little stars (her kittens) who have already found their homes, but she's still waiting for her turn to shine. 🌟

She may be petite, but her heart is as big as the galaxy! 🪐 Whether she's zooming around like a shooting star or curling up in a quiet corner, Saturn is out of this world. Let her be the center of your universe, and you'll have a lifelong companion who will light up your nights. 💫

More about this shelter

The Associated Humane Societies rescues stray and homeless animals, both domestic and wildlife, providing quality care and sanctuary until loving homes can be found. As a community-based organization, we provide low-cost veterinary care and humane education to promote responsible pet guardianship throughout New Jersey.

For over a century we have offered a haven to abused and neglected animals. Founded in 1906, AHS is the largest animal sheltering system in New Jersey, operating three shelters located in Newark, Forked River, and Tinton Falls. Our Forked River facility also includes Popcorn Park. Established in 1977, Popcorn Park is a sanctuary for abandoned, injured, ill, exploited, abused, or elderly wildlife, exotic and farm animals, and birds.

The Society is a not-for-profit, 501(c)3 organization and we take pride in our devotion to the thousands of animals that come through our doors looking for a better life.

Please visit our website AHSCares.org for additional information.
