My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Geisha is a talker, a typical Siamese trait. She can be easily overstimulated, so she appreciates a calm and understanding approach. She eventually warms up to other cats, but she needs extra time to adjust. Once comfortable with them, she is happy to share her space and even engage in some play. She is highly food motivated, which is a good way to win her heart. She is looking for a home where she can be the center of attention.
All cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for fleas and dewormed, and microchipped.

More about this rescue

Our threefold mission is to provide cats in need a forever home, be a sanctuary where cats will have a second chance to live a full life in a no-cage, no-kill environment, and to lead the effort to make Central Illinois a no-kill community by ending euthanasia as a method of controlling feline populations.
