Meet Chelsie! She is a chatty ball of energy who is eager to meet you – and all your friends! Chelsie will surely fill your days with a lot of laughter and love.
Chelsie is a social cat who really enjoys meeting new people, and she will happily approach them to say hello. She is quite talkative too, and you’ll notice her unique voice right away. When it’s playtime, she especially loves to play fetch! She has a lot of fun chasing after little stuffed toys and a foam soccer ball. Chelsie also adores playing with other cats, and she got along swimmingly with her foster siblings!
While in our care, Chelsie was noted to have mild pectus excavatum, which is a congenital issue that occurs when the breastbone and rib cage have a sunken or concave appearance. She is unlikely to require surgery for this, though it is occasionally needed for more severe cases. Chelsie also has some scarring on her eyes that gives them a cloudy appearance, which was due to an eye infection that has since resolved. It is unlikely that she will need any follow-up care for her eyes, though she may continue to have mildly blurry vision. Our Adoption Team would be happy to share more information with you about Chelsie’s medical history and expected future care.
Chelsie would thrive in an active household who will keep her busy. She is still a growing kitten who needs a lot of daily play to burn off all her energy! She is also learning every day about how to be a cat, so she would also benefit from understanding adopters who can give gentle reminders of appropriate play. Chelsie would do well in a home with other pets, but if she is the only pet, her ideal family would be ready to spend lots of social time with her. She just loves to spend all day with her friends!
