Ivant!

Ivant is a male 2.5 year old Shepherd mix, who is a perfect blend of fun and lovable! He loves to run in the park, and is very agile and oh-so-joyful as he enjoys his time outside. Ivant also seems to like other dogs, and he especially likes playing with dogs in the playpens adjacent to his. Of course, we always suggest a Meet and Greet if you have other dogs in the household. But as for cats, Ivant seems much too interested in them, so would probably be best in a home without cats. As his photo shows, Ivant does a perfect Sit on command. He also has an endearing way of spontaneously doing a Sit without asking, as if doing it just to please you. After getting to run and play for a while, Ivant becomes a very loving boy. He will sit beside you, and then lean in for pets and affection. Very sweet! Ivant dreams of a home where he can enjoy running and playing, followed by spending lots of time simply basking in the company of his family.

The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.

The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
