Espiga is a charming, super cute and friendly boy who adores attention and loves saying hello to other dogs! With his playful spirit, Espiga is happiest when he’s near his humans, enjoying walks, playtime, or simply being by your side.
One of Espiga’s favorite things in the world is playing with rope toys—though he does have a tendency to try and rip them apart, so a little supervision is needed. He’s still young at heart and would benefit from some additional training, especially with crate training, which he’s still working on. Espiga doesn’t like being left alone and would likely thrive in a home with another dog to keep him company.
Though he’s not a fan of water, Espiga’s loyalty shines through—he even hopped on a paddleboard just to stay close to his foster! He’s a well-behaved boy for the most part but will need continued guidance as he matures. He’s so happy to be out of the shelter and is ready to find his perfect forever family.

While his foster family believes he may be barely a year old based on his energy and behavior, the veterinarian estimates his age to be closer to four years. As we don’t have Espiga's full history, we’re working with the vet’s assessment, and his adoption records will reflect an age of four years.
