HOW TO ADOPT: This dog is available for adoption by request. To schedule a time to meet this dog, please email apurvis@arl-iowa.org.
---
- Might take a minute to warm up, but once she does she is a total cuddle bug who loves to be in your lap!
- Once you're in her circle, you're in - she'll love being your companion
- Likes treats and will happily eat them, but is even more interested in attention from her people
- Has done some work on potty training in her foster home
- Did okay with being left alone at home
- Would benefit from continued confidence building in her new home
- Did well with other dogs and cats in her foster home, was interested in the cats but left them alone and might enjoy having dog friends
- Young, noisy or busy children can be too much for her (mature home recommended)
The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
