Tatum is a 1 year old Wheaten Terrier x Poodle (Whoodle) mix who has a smile that could light up the world! Tatum was rescued from the shelter where she was brought in by animal control as a stray. She was terribly matted and we knew this girl needed some TLC. We scooped her up and after several baths and a spa day, she was looking like a million bucks! Tatum weighs 28 pounds and has a lovely soft coat. She will need regular grooming or brushing to ensure her coat stays pristine. If you’re looking for a new buddy, try our Tatum on for size today!

Tatum won the DPS award for “happiest and most friendly dog ever”. It was fan voted, don’t question it! This gal loves everything about life and she lives it to the fullest everyday. She loves playing with and being with her people. She loves finding new and unique places to take naps, often in silly places. Tatum loves being in the same room as her people but she isn’t a velcro dog and is happy to keep herself occupied when she needs to. Tatum is very goofy and has a fabulous personality, making herself known in every room she enters in the best way. Tatum is super smart as well and is very food motivated. We know this gal will shine at training class. She is very playful and energetic. She has a ton of toys she spreads around the house throughout the day. Tatum would be a fabulous companion for an active family as she loves to get her zoomies out! If you like to hit the trails or explore new paths, Tatum would love to strap on her water vest and join you. Just get her on Strava and watch her zoom! Tatum also has a killer pair of puppy dog eyes paired with the softest coat in the world. She’s impossible to resist when she lays a paw on your arm and asks for cuddles or another cookie. Tatum has made her mark in her foster home and they know she will be the most perfect addition to the lucky family who brings her home.

Tatum is usually up and ready for her morning walk by 7 AM. She heads out for about an hour and then comes home and enjoys her breakfast. She enjoys a morning nap for a few hours before wandering over for some belly rubs as her people take a break from the workday. She has a small snack around 1 PM and then spends some time sniffing around the yard. In the evening, Tatum heads to her best friend’s house and plays some fetch or gets the zoomies. She loves showing off her Bambi legs and chasing her pal around the yard. She walks home after an hour or so and has dinner at 6 PM. In the evening, Tatum has some more playtime in the living room as her family has dinner. She then gets some cuddles and belly rubs on the couch until she heads to bed around 10 PM.

Tatum gets along well with playful dogs she can have adventures with. She would love an active companion. Tatum would benefit from additional leash and obedience training, as she is still very much in the puppy mindset. Tatum is house trained and crate trained. Tatum would love a home with a big backyard or one close to a park. She adores the outdoors and is a real outside kid. If you’re ready for a fabulous new pal, bring home Tatum today!

Tatum is an option for homes who have previously owned a dog of their own. Kids in the home should be over the age of 9.
