Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾JAY🐾
*** Application link is below & must be submitted prior to a meet and greet.
(Indoor-only, no declawing, needs a playmate, Utah residents only, 21+.)

Meet Jay! 🐾 This playful little guy is a bundle of energy and joy, always ready to turn any moment into a fun adventure. His absolute favorite toys are pipe cleaners, and he can spend hours batting them around or carrying them in his mouth like a little hunter! 🎉 Jay loves to wrestle with his kitty friends, showing off his playful, spunky side, and he’s always down for a good romp around the house.

But Jay isn’t just about playtime—he’s also incredibly affectionate. 💕 He loves to be petted and has the cutest way of rubbing between your legs to remind you that he’s ready for some love and attention. His purrs are a sweet thank you for every scratch behind the ears.

When it comes to food, Jay is a little foodie! 🐱🍲 Wet food and treats are his absolute favorite, and he’ll eagerly let you know when it’s mealtime with his cute, excited energy.

** He MUST go to a home with another active, playful cat. (Or adopt a 2nd kitty with him for ½ the adoption fee!) He needs an indoor-only home with plenty of room to run around, cat trees to climb on, and toys to play with. He needs a patient family who will give him time to adjust, lots of love, attention, and playtime. **

He does great with other cats and cat-friendly dogs after proper introductions. He does well with respectful, older children, and he is litter box trained.

If you're looking for a kitten who is the perfect mix of playful and affectionate, Jay is your guy! He’s sure to bring endless fun and love to his forever home. 🏡💫 Could Jay be the newest addition to your family?

More about this rescue

Friends of Community-Cats Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization, with an incredible team of volunteers, dedicated to rescuing and saving the lives of cats and kittens whom are abandoned, neglected, sick, injured, unwanted or would otherwise be euthanized in shelters. We work with multiple shelters in Utah and are part of the Best Friends Animal Society Coalition aiming to make Utah a no-kill state.
We take in the abandoned, abused, unwanted, neglected, geriatric and neonatal, sick and injured and cats with severe behavioral problems. We get the cats medical care, rehabilitation and bring them back to health and prepare them for adoption. We have a great adoption program in which we spay/neuter, vaccinate and microchip the cats and kittens before placing them into loving, adoptive homes.
We participate in Trap-Neuter-Return for community cats. We provide food, shelters and medical care for more than 100 community cats daily. We also assist low income families with medical care and food for their animals.
We are 100% volunteer and foster based and rely on donations from the public to keep our organization running. We mostly focus on cats, however we do help other animals as well, such as dogs, small animals and livestock.
Our director, Kali Cristaudo, founded this organization in 2012. Since then, we have grown so much, formed an incredible team of volunteers and have saved thousands of lives and we will continue to save more and more lives every year.
