My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾DOT🐾
*** Application link is below & must be submitted prior to a meet and greet.
(Indoor-only, no declawing, needs a playmate, Utah residents only, 21+.)

Meet Dot! 🐾 This playful, energetic boy is always on the go and brings endless entertainment to any home. Whether he's chasing after his favorite pom poms 🎉 or dashing around the house at top speed, Dot’s zest for fun is contagious! You’ll often spot him zooming past, leaping from cat trees like a mini superhero 🦸‍♂️, trying to outsmart his kitty friends in playful chases. His curiosity and love for toys means there's never a dull moment when Dot is around!

While Dot is a little speed demon 🏃‍♂️, he can be shy when faced with new situations or unfamiliar faces. He’ll need a bit of patience and time to adjust to his new environment, but once he feels safe and loved, his softer side shines through. 💕 When he’s not zipping around, Dot absolutely adores being petted and will gladly snuggle up for some affection, purring softly as you give him the attention he craves. 🥰

** He MUST go to a home with another active, playful cat. (Or adopt a 2nd kitty with him for ½ the adoption fee!) He needs an indoor-only home with plenty of room to run around, cat trees to climb on, and toys to play with. He needs a patient family who will give him time to adjust, lots of love, attention, and playtime. **

He does great with other cats and cat-friendly dogs after proper introductions. He does well with respectful, older children, and he is litter box trained.

Dot would do best in a home that understands his playful spirit but also gives him the time he needs to feel secure. If you're ready to welcome a kitten who’s equal parts wild adventurer and sweet cuddle bug, Dot is your guy! 🌟 Let this charming little furball brighten up your life with his boundless energy and lovable personality! 🐱💫

More about this rescue

Friends of Community-Cats Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization, with an incredible team of volunteers, dedicated to rescuing and saving the lives of cats and kittens whom are abandoned, neglected, sick, injured, unwanted or would otherwise be euthanized in shelters. We work with multiple shelters in Utah and are part of the Best Friends Animal Society Coalition aiming to make Utah a no-kill state.
We take in the abandoned, abused, unwanted, neglected, geriatric and neonatal, sick and injured and cats with severe behavioral problems. We get the cats medical care, rehabilitation and bring them back to health and prepare them for adoption. We have a great adoption program in which we spay/neuter, vaccinate and microchip the cats and kittens before placing them into loving, adoptive homes.
We participate in Trap-Neuter-Return for community cats. We provide food, shelters and medical care for more than 100 community cats daily. We also assist low income families with medical care and food for their animals.
We are 100% volunteer and foster based and rely on donations from the public to keep our organization running. We mostly focus on cats, however we do help other animals as well, such as dogs, small animals and livestock.
Our director, Kali Cristaudo, founded this organization in 2012. Since then, we have grown so much, formed an incredible team of volunteers and have saved thousands of lives and we will continue to save more and more lives every year.
