PLEASE READ TRUFA’SS BIO IN DETAIL TO ENSURE THAT SHE WILL BE A GOOD FIT FOR YOU AND YOUR LIFESTYLE BEORE APPLYING. PEASE NOTE: TRUFA IS BEING FOSTERED IN THE OTTAWA, ON AREA

We at All Paws Matter believe in the benefits of post-adoption training for our dogs and their families. This allows for continued socialization, learning and helps to create a well-mannered and balanced dog. This is now a requirement in our adoption process. Proof of training classes for puppies specifically is required before adoption.

Our beautiful Trufa is a super sweet, affection and well behaved dog. She is relatively quiet in the house and loves to have her naps. She loves her new life since arriving here in Canada from Mexico where she did have a home of her own but unfortunately, her owner passed away so it was difficult her to enter a shelter. We want nothing more than her to be comfortable and happy with the perfect adopter in a home of her own.

Trufa is a medium energy girl and would love a family who would be willing to take her on her daily walks and some fun adventures where she could explore the world and enjoy life in a forever home. She loves to sunbathe and to run in the yard as well as going for walks with her foster canine sister.

Her ideal home would have a fenced in backyard or an apartment/condo as long as her exercise needs were met. She is good with dogs and can live with dog savvy cats. Trufa is bit jumpy but her foster is working on this. She does pull on her leash but with proper training we know she can overcome this small habit. She can be a little shy of new people and can be fearful of very loud noises that startle her which is why we feel children 8+ would be best for her. She is calm in the house and we know she can be the perfect dog for someone that fits her needs.

If you feel you would be the right fit for Trufa, please fill out an adoption application at https://www.allpawsmatter.ca/apply-to-adopt/

All APM dogs are UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered, dewormed, Heart worm (4dx snap) tested and arrive with a health certificate. They come to adopter with a harness, a collar and two leashes for safety.

NOTE: The above description is relevant to this dog in its current and previous setting. Home changes and adopter personalities can bring out different behaviours not previously seen. We also do not claim or suggest that our dogs are hypo-allergenic or that they shed/do not shed.

BREED DISCLAIMER: We are never sure of the breed of our dogs since they arrive off the streets or shelters. It is a guess only!

More about this rescue

At All Paws Matter Dog Rescue along with our sister rescue SOS el Arca, we are determined to save as many broken, abused, abandoned to die and neglected street and shelter dogs in Canada and Mexico as we can. Motivated by a deep love of our 4 legged friends, our mandate is to save and improve as many lives as possible. We have seen many tragedies and have witnessed the most horrible cruelties, but we know working together we can make a significance difference. Raising the awareness of the importance of spaying and neutering our 4 legged friends and through the love and support of our wonderful volunteers, supporters and adopters our hope is to rescue, heal and successfully rehome as many of these deserving souls as possible.
