We’ve had Smokey since he was a puppy. He’s a great dog and we would love for him to go to a home where he can get lots of play time and attention, he usually craves human attention and loves going for walks. He isn’t the most friendly dog but I believe he can be trained to grow out of it. He does not go out of his way to bite kids or people however if you grab one of his toys, he may become aggressive to try and get it back. He does try to be the dominant dog in the house so I would also like it if he went to a home where he is the only dog.
There was an incident with my niece who is 2 years old where she grabbed one of Smokey’s tennis balls and he bit her trying to grab the ball from her hand. I think he doesn’t understand that he can’t be too forceful when playing with toddlers and since we now have our own toddler, this worries us.
