My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Here are some observations from staff:
He appears to be under 1y old (maybe 6-9m?).
He is very good on leash and doesn’t pull like a puppy or a husk.
He comes to you when you make “kissy” sounds. Still learning his newly given name.
He has been out when there are other dogs in the play yards- he just wants to play and run back and forth with them.
He seems to be holding his potty as long as he can in his kennel. And has been in office with NO MISTAKES!
He takes treats gently from you.
He is not a retriever. He will chase the ball though ??
Learning lay down, stay.
Knows sit. Is working on giving paw.
Great in the office.

Lumi had a bath. While it was not his favorite thing, with treats he tolerated having a good bath.
Also, he doesn`t mind brushing as long as there is a treat in his sights. (definitely has the husky fluffy undercoat)
He has started whining to let us know when he needs to go out to potty. EXCELLENT!!!
He seems to know his name and has pretty good recall for a puppy his age!

Lumi has been around older children (7yr old+) and was really good.
He doesn`t seem to mind busy, noisy areas and can take a nap like a champ with the noise around him.

Lumi`s off-campus, leash-walking behavior reflects a young, energetic dog who is still learning the ropes. While Lumi is calm overall, there is a noticeable tendency to pull slightly on the leash and attempt to lead the walk, which is typical of a dog adjusting to newfound freedom and stimuli. He frequently checks in with his handler, which shows attentiveness and a desire to stay connected, a very promising sign for further training. Given his age and natural distractions, it`s recommended to use an easy walk no-pull harness or Herm Sprenger training collar at the beginning of training to help curb the leash pulling. Experienced handlers would be ideal to guide him effectively. To keep his attention, frequent breaks are suggested to redirect focus, as well as consistent praise when Lumi walks calmly and follows commands. Lumi shows great potential for improvement with a little more practice and guidance. No treats were used during training, relying solely on praise reinforcement. Lumi responds well to verbal encouragement.
