My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This handsome boy is called Marshall and he and his litter mates are those one in a zillion puppies that made it from being born in the woods and living underneath whatever could shelter them along with their mother to being taken in by an already overcrowded rescue organization.  This handsome pup is about 14 weeks old and weighs 20 lb and has this soul of a lover boy. He is gentle in spirit but yet smart and carries with him a strong fortitude that you can tell has been forged by survival instincts. He is submissive and roles on his back when he feels he can trust you for a very gentle and loving belly rub. He submits to other larger dogs and although not around cats constantly we can tell that his demeanor has absolutely no aggression towards any living soul or thing in this world. He's working on housebreaking and his crate trained and learning the leash. His foster mom it has an exceptional and innate determination to polish him into a sparkling diamond of a young pup. He was lucky to have been born during warmer months as litters like this do not always survive the frigid cold weather of winter when born unprotected and no shelter. He is healthy and he is under our watchful care looking for a family that will train him, give him a fence to yard with lots of exercise time and leash walking excursions. He will be able to loved and handsome boy that we feel will grow to be anywhere from 50 to 60 lb as an adult. He is ready to get his backpack prepped and his heart ❣️ tied up in a bow for his forever family  if you would like to adopt this boy, you will take home a prize. More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Companion Rescue give them a chance to have a life?
