My name is Pearl!

My husband and I are moving overseas, and we need to rehome our sweet 12-year-old rat terrier, Pearl.

Pearl has been with us for 3 years. She was a rescue.

She's healthy, up-to-date on vaccinations, and perfect for someone who wants a calm, affectionate pet.

She still has a lot of spring in her step! She moves like a much younger dog. Pearl just needs a daily walk and lots of cuddles. She loves belly rubs and will roll onto her back to try to encourage rubs. She's a little clown.

Pearl loves to roam around our fenced yard, but prefers being inside. She's a little too big to fit under the airline seat and we won't put her through the danger and trauma of being shipped in cargo. I've heard too many horror stories about this.

She is a wonderful companion for a retiree or someone who works from home. She wants to be close to a human, so she shouldn't be left home alone all day.

We love her very much. We can't risk taking her with us.
