ABOUT: HARPER is an happy 17 lb 18 month old puppy. Our veterinarian thinks he could be a Cockapoo/Maltese mix. Please do not inquire about adopting HARPER before reading this entire description. HARPER's adoption fee is $250.
ORIGIN: HARPER was found by a good Samaritan wandering the roads south of Tucson in an Industrial area. We posted to find his owner with the county and several internet sites but got no responses.
HEALTH: HARPER came to RoRescue very dirty. We spent 4 hours removing ticks and giving his at least 4 baths. We gave him anti-tick treatment. We tested him for heartworm/tick fever. He was NEGATIVE on both. We had him innoculated, microchipped and neutered. He is now ready to review your adoption application.
HARPER's PERSONALITY: This boy loves everyone. Gets along well with other dogs even the cats tolerate him. Don't know about children but we think gentle older children would be OK. He seems housetrained but no guarantees.

ALL RORESCUE DOGS are vet checked, spayed/neutered, dental cleaning (if needed), microchipped and UTD on shots.
NOT DONE: Full blood panel/Valley Fever/Tick Fever/Heartworm testing is NOT customarily done, unless veterinary suggested.
RoRescue adopts their dogs as INDOOR pets, with sufficient supervised outdoor exercise time.
We do NOT adopt to out-of area or out of state locations.

In 2018 RoRescue rescued and placed over 40 dogs Rorescue source for rescue dogs are primarily County Animal Shelters and occasionally, we take in strays or owner surrender dogs.
