My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾FLOWER🐾
*** Application link is below & must be submitted prior to a meet and greet.
(Indoor-only, no declawing, needs a playmate, Utah residents only, 21+.)

Meet Flower! 🌸 This little sweetheart is bursting with energy and playfulness. She absolutely loves to spend time with her sibling, zooming around the house and chasing after toys. 🧶 Whether it’s a feather wand, a bouncy ball, or anything that moves, Flower is always ready for some fun! 🐾

Flower also has a soft spot for wet food and treats — she can’t resist them! 🍲 Her eyes light up at the sound of a can opening, and she’ll come running for her favorite snacks. But even with all her energy, Flower has a tender, loving side. She adores her humans and loves spending time with them, whether it's playing together or curling up nearby for some quiet time. 💕

However, Flower can be a little shy in new situations. It might take her a bit of time to feel comfortable in unfamiliar environments, so she’ll need a family that can give her the patience and space to decompress. 🏡 Once she feels safe, Flower’s true personality will shine, and she’ll become your playful, affectionate, and loyal companion.

** She MUST go to a home with another active, playful cat. (Or adopt a 2nd kitty with her for ½ the adoption fee!) She needs an indoor-only home with plenty of room to run around, cat trees to climb on, and toys to play with. She needs a family who will give her lots of love, attention, and playtime. **

She does great with other cats and cat-friendly dogs after proper introductions. She does well with respectful, older children, and she is litter box trained.

If you’re looking for a kitten who’s full of life and love, Flower is the one for you! 🌷 With a little patience, she’ll blossom into the most amazing addition to your home, filling your days with fun, joy, and plenty of purrs. 😻

More about this rescue

Friends of Community-Cats Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization, with an incredible team of volunteers, dedicated to rescuing and saving the lives of cats and kittens whom are abandoned, neglected, sick, injured, unwanted or would otherwise be euthanized in shelters. We work with multiple shelters in Utah and are part of the Best Friends Animal Society Coalition aiming to make Utah a no-kill state.
We take in the abandoned, abused, unwanted, neglected, geriatric and neonatal, sick and injured and cats with severe behavioral problems. We get the cats medical care, rehabilitation and bring them back to health and prepare them for adoption. We have a great adoption program in which we spay/neuter, vaccinate and microchip the cats and kittens before placing them into loving, adoptive homes.
We participate in Trap-Neuter-Return for community cats. We provide food, shelters and medical care for more than 100 community cats daily. We also assist low income families with medical care and food for their animals.
We are 100% volunteer and foster based and rely on donations from the public to keep our organization running. We mostly focus on cats, however we do help other animals as well, such as dogs, small animals and livestock.
Our director, Kali Cristaudo, founded this organization in 2012. Since then, we have grown so much, formed an incredible team of volunteers and have saved thousands of lives and we will continue to save more and more lives every year.
