Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bella is a local owner surrender. She is 2-3 years old and chubby at 41.5 lbs. Bella's owner took her and another beagle in from a hunter looking to find homes for them as they were not interested in hunting. Bella has had at least one litter. The most recent owner has several beagles and Bella is getting overwhelmed.
Bella is sweet and friendly. She would benefit from some confidence building as she’s a bit unsure about things and a bit skittish with different noises around the house. She will need an adopter who will be patient enough to allow her time to decompress and adjust to her new home. Also one that will be committed to helping her lose the extra weight.
She has settled into her foster home pretty well. She follows her foster mom everywhere and is starting to relax enough to give occasional kisses and tail wags. She likes to cuddle and has been sleeping in bed with her foster mom. Bella enjoys being outside and loves to take walks. She happily hikes two miles, enjoying meeting people and dogs along the way. She is a very low-key girl who is fine with cats and house trained. Bella is being fostered west of Boston and is available for visits.
