Billie is a gorgeous southern rescue who's rescuer is no longer able to care for her. She is 4 years old, but don't tell her she's not a puppy anymore. She has lots of energy to burn off, but once she's worn herself out, is very sweet & loving.
She's learning that she doesn't need to growl to play, but does get her hackles up when she gets excited or nervous.
Billie gets nervous in unfamiliar settings & is a bit of an emotional pee-er. She does her business outside, but can't control the occasional excited or nervous squirt- greeting her calmly seems to take care of it, though.
She's a very bright, alert girl & will thrive with someone who has the energy & time to bond with her, maybe running or hiking regularly?
She's good (albeit pushy) with other dogs, once she's had time to get used to them & the space. She mostly ignores cats & chickens. Not a lot of recent experience with children, but her puppy paperwork said she was good with them.
