My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Steffi, here. I`m no sit back cat. No California dreamin` here. I may be a real knockout tiger with special orange markings, but I am not full of myself like others I could mention. Do you like kisses? I do. I have bright eyes that are BIG, BIG, BIG - to take all of you in. I am a percher who also loves to play. How about we play `house` at `our` house?

I`m visiting some volunteers for a shelter break but meeting me is easy! Send an email to fostercare@austinhumanesociety.org and they`ll set it up right away! -- Steffi

More about this shelter

The Austin Humane Society (AHS) offers comprehensive, humane, life-saving animal services, transforming the lives of animals and those who love them. Because we believe homeless animals deserve a chance to thrive in a loving environment, we offer innovative, nationally recognized programs that save the lives of thousands of dogs and cats each year. AHS’ approach to addressing animal homelessness encompasses both finding animals homes through adoption as well as preventing future homelessness through spay/neuter programs.
