My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Murphy, the gentle soul of the bunch. A little shy at first, Murphy feels his best when he's around other dogs, finding comfort in their company. Unlike his pushier siblings, he's content to hang back and wait his turn for affection. With a soft and sweet nature, Murphy will thrive in a home where he can build confidence and soak up the love he deserves.

The Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center (formerly the Riverside Humane Society) is an Adoption Guarantee Organization that takes in healthy, adoptable animals.

All of our animals are spayed or neutered, updated on all vaccinations and microchipped upon adoption. They enjoy indoor, comfortable kennels and are socialized by volunteers on a regular basis.

Our mission is to eliminate the suffering of homeless cats and dogs by:

•Providing humane care for pets in transition
•Facilitating adoptions to loving homes
•Providing humane and pet overpopulation education to the public
•Supporting sterilization of companion animals
