My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mia gave birth to 8 beautiful puppies. She has been a wonderful Mom to her babies and now it's time for everyone to find their forever homes. Mia has since been spayed so her Mommy days are over. Mia is a sweet, friendly girl who gets along with people and other dogs. We do not know what she thinks of cats. She looks like she has some Border Collie in her but she is less energetic than the typical Border Collies we see. Mia is about 4-5 years old and 35 pounds. Please help Mia find the loving home she deserves.

Update: Mia tested positive for Ehrlicchia, another common tick borne disease similar to Lyme's. She is undergoing a short course of antibiotic and is feeling great. Mia is currently available for adoption and any remaining pills will be sent home with her new family for completion. Don't miss out on this awesome girl!

We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821).

Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.

Mia's adoption fee is $400. This covers all their age-appropriate shots, microchipping and vetting.

**If you are coming to an adoption event to see a certain dog/cat, please email ahead of time to make sure that dog/cat will be there that day. Please email 1-2 days before the event, as some animals are placed during the week and our list is constantly changing.
