Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ADOPT SAMPSON!
Time for an update on this sweet boy! He came to us in mid-July starving and weak only weighing 52 lbs. You could count every rib, full of parasites, pressure sores on his hips and heartworm positive.
Fast forward 2 months and Sampson is ready for a home!!
He currently weighs 78 lbs and he is 1.5 years old. He finally gets to be a puppy! He loves his toys, loves tug of war and carries his ducky around (see pic). He loves his people, follows closely and is never too far away. Sampson has a ferocious bark! Scares people away. But he's a big baby. Loves cuddles and scratches. He's a nibbler but never bites. He loves his soft bed. He does great in a car and just relaxes and will climb in for you too. He's just a lover dog!!
He is great with everyone - kids, other dogs and cats. He will bark at a cat but not chase or hurt them. Also used to chickens. He is crate and house-trained as well. Sampson would make anyone a wonderful pet. He's low maintenance. He looks big and bad, but he's a big marshmallow!
Adoption fee is $150, includes spay/neuter, deworming, vaccines, heartworm negative and started on prevention, flea/tick free and microchip. Apply at www.arlorescue.com
ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: A secure fenced yard and good vet history.
