My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We have a transport set up to NorCal and OR leaving here from SoCal on 10/5/24 and we would love to add Freddy to our trip for the right family!

Meet Freddy. He is a 2 year old, poodle/bichon mix. He weighs right around 12 lbs. Yes, he is full grown and at a very healthy weight. He is neutered microchipped, current on vaccines, and had a wonderful exam with our vet whome has cleared him to find a home all his own!

He is crate trained, and currently sleeps in his crate at night or when we have to step out of the home for any reason. He does have impeccable house manners, and would be totally okay being in the home if desired instead of a crate. He is leash trained, and LOVES his walks!! He is house trained, and will sit at the door when he needs to go outside to use the restroom.

He is NOT a barker, but will alert you on occasion of unfamiliar sounds. He listens VERY well. He knows basic commands like sit, stay, and wait. He LOVES treat time, and feels there needs to be designated time every day (maybe a couple times a day 😂) specifically for treat time 😏 He is very smart. Aims to please. And is always ready to go on road trips, even if just around town.

He LOVES everyone he meets (men, women, and children alike.) He is a very social guy!! He loves attention, as much as he likes giving it. He loves to play fetch, and really loves his soft/squeaky toys. He is NOT high energy, and easy to care for. He will lounge in his bed, and just be lazy all day if that's what the days schedule permits.

He is WONDERFUL with all dogs, and lived in a home with cats which he loved. He does NOT need to be in a home wkth other animals though as his real joy comes from being front and center in his persons world. He is a happy, go with the flow, personality and truly would make someone's a great friend.

He is EXCELLENT at the groomers, and really enjoys his spa days too ❤️ especially when he gets extra massage time ☺️

His prior owner couldn't care for him financially anymore, and didn't want him to go without, as he deserves the world so she asked us to take him in and find him another human to love him for the rest of his life 😏 so here we are ❤️

Adoption fee along with its breakdown is on our website at breadoflifek9refuge.org

It covers his vetting costs, care associated in the length of time he has been with us, his grooming costs, and training we have personally done!
