My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Animal Profile: The Top Gun Litter are joining us from Brekenridge, TX on 8/28. Mama Annie was a stray that joined Elphie's Animal Alliance, but with limited resources and lower adoption rates one of our local foster families stepped up to take them on in order to find them greener pastures. We will post more info on the puppies as we get to know them in foster care.

Foster Update: Penny is love embodied. In her perfect home she would be constantly held and cuddled. She is amenable, cuddly, and sweet. She loves to chill on her back and get belly rubs. She has been around large dogs, small dogs, and cats and does well with all. She gets short bursts of energy and then quickly seeks a lap or soft bed to nap in. She is a very smart girl. She has already started to learn her name and comes when called. She is well on her way to potty training at such a young age as well, as she avoids going in her kennel and will whine to be let out when she has to go. We have been using potty pads for indoor training right now and she will come out, find a potty pad and go. While she has been crate trained to-date, she truly craves physical touch so she will whine for a few minutes when she goes back in her crate, but will then quiet down and fine a spot to sleep. Penny has a quieter, easy going nature, but is also confident in new environments.

Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, and microchip with registration. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.
