Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**adoption pending**
Opal is just all wiggly wanting some pets in her kennel! She is estimated to be about a year old and weighs 38 pounds.
Opal is a cutie patootie with a shy but sweet nature. She can be submissive and a little hand shy at first, but once she gets to know you, she loves being close to you getting all kinds of pets and cuddles. Opal is highly trainable as she only wants to please you, so with a little confidence-building, she will make such a great companion. If you're looking for a happy-go-lucky dog who will stick by your side, look no further than Opal. She is a sweet and gentle soul who is ready to find her forever home and would be a wonderful addition to your family. A home where any children are at least 4 years old will be just perfect.
If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Opal would love to meet them. She is a little unsure and very submissive meeting other dogs and tries to hide behind you. She will need an adopter who can work with her on positive dog to dog socialization so she can blossom into a playful girl with other pups.
If you are interested in Opal and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend!
*Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
