My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This gorgeous girl is SQUIGGLES and she is so much fun💜
Not only is she super smart, but she also loves attention and goes potty outside. What else do we know about this long and lean girl?

She is/has:
Only 2 young years old.
Very jumpy and excited about life and exploring.
Potential for dog friends, with the proper introduction.
Bigger kid approved (10-12+).
Cuddly after she burns off her energy.

What do we think Squiggles is? Maybe part Pointer? Maybe part Whippet or Coonhound? We hope that whoever adopts this pretty girl does the DNA and informs us!!!

Please come meet her! We are very full and need adoptions. Our shelter is open daily from 12-4:30. Call or email with any questions at 732.922.0100 or tintonfallsahs@ahsppz.org.

More about this shelter

The Associated Humane Societies rescues stray and homeless animals, both domestic and wildlife, providing quality care and sanctuary until loving homes can be found. As a community-based organization, we provide low-cost veterinary care and humane education to promote responsible pet guardianship throughout New Jersey.

For over a century we have offered a haven to abused and neglected animals. Founded in 1906, AHS is the largest animal sheltering system in New Jersey, operating three shelters located in Newark, Forked River, and Tinton Falls. Our Forked River facility also includes Popcorn Park. Established in 1977, Popcorn Park is a sanctuary for abandoned, injured, ill, exploited, abused, or elderly wildlife, exotic and farm animals, and birds.

The Society is a not-for-profit, 501(c)3 organization and we take pride in our devotion to the thousands of animals that come through our doors looking for a better life.

Please visit our website AHSCares.org for additional information.
