Meet Grandma Shirley, an 8 year old female Domestic Shorthair. Grandma Shirley is such a sweet lady. She has not had an easy past, as you can see from her second picture that shows the large scaring on her back. We have no idea what caused this past injury but Shirley doesn't seem to mind and she is more than happy to get full body pets. Shirley has been enjoying the YHS catio. She likes to get attention from all the visitors but also seems to like people watching from the outdoor area.
This pet is available for adoption at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. If you recognize this animal please contact the adoption center at 509-457-6854. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Our mission is to help you find a pet that meets your expectations and lifestyle. You’re invited to visit with a prospective pet in one of our "Meet N' Greet" rooms. We also offer "Meet N' Greets" for adopters wishing to introduce a current dog to a potential new playmate.
