Now accepting applications for Jackson! Jackson is a 5 year old neutered male bluenose pitbull terrier. Look at this handsome fella, his eyes just melt your heart! If you are looking for an only dog that loves with his whole heart, Jackson is the guy for you! If you are interested in meeting Jackson please go to our website at www.mjhs.ca and click the Adopt tab, then Adoptable Animals and scroll to his handsome face to submit your application. Once your application has been approved we will contact you to come spend some time with Jackson to be sure he is the right fit for you. If after meeting him you decide he is not the dog for you, there is no obligation to complete the adoption process. We look forward to hearing from you! Jackson is a very good boy who loves every human he meets and is especially good with small children. He is however not good with other pets and will need a home where he is the only pet. His original family did agility and competitive obedience with him when he was younger and it shows. He is incredibly well-mannered and picks up on what you want to teach him quickly. Due to a change in their family, Jackson finds himself looking for a soft place to land that is willing to focus on just him and give him the time to decompress and settle in to his new home. Jackson is a gentle, well mannered boy who can get a bit excited when first seeing his favourite people, but settles down when he realizes you are there to stay. He loves to be close to his favourite humans (like inside your skin if possible), walks well on leash and is house broken. Jackson's adoption fee is $300, he is neutered, started on his vaccination schedule and microchipped. Can't adopt Jackson yourself but still want to help? Our mission is to provide compassionate care and a safe environment for homeless and orphaned animals until a forever home is found.
